BIDOUN Collection by Katrin Greiling – Arab influence
The German designer Katrin Greiling has created an interesting collection, called BIDOUN, seating and tables. The number of mobile BIDOUN is clearly inspired by the style of the Middle East, because the Greiling has studied the style of “nomadic life” and used the objects of daily life of the Bedouins as a source of inspiration for his creation, reinterpreting the traditional seats in key Arab modern.
This system is composed of seduction of several layers of mattresses stacked on one another and connected by a rope. The different layers of color variations that can be read if you want to create an elegant, totally different colors or if you want to give lots of light.
The seat height varies depending on the number of mattresses between 430 and 330 mm, then a session low as the Arab tradition. It ‘s interesting that we can constantly change the look of our sofa changing the order of position of the various layers of mattresses getting colors are always different!
The coffee table, combined with BIDOUN collection is available in solid pine wood veneer or marble, and draws the design of the sofa using a rope tied.
