New Apple Store Shanghai by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects

Following the recognizable aesthetic of their previous stores, Apple has opened last July in Shanghai, its first store in China. The building technology of glass and steel with minimal interior is just another example of how the iconic brand that their premises are looking logo design, just as are their products. Architects Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, renowned U.S. study has already worked with Apple in the design store in New York and London, have raised the following local structure on Fifth Avenue. The famous entrance-cube, local emblem of New York, Shanghai has been replaced by a glass cylinder, which leads to a local underground beneath a square central business district of Lujiazui in Pudong.
Also in this case, a stunning spiral staircase made of steel and glass, leading to the astonished guests at a large commercial space where design and technology are joined to the delight of many hardcore fans of the apple brand. As an added attraction for the Apple-addicted, the Shanghai store has allocated a significant portion of its space at the Genius Bar, one of the biggest compared to other local Apple.
