Restaurant Ornina create haute cuisine recipes in the fusion of stunning

On Friday 25 February, Ornina opened its new concept of restoration in Barcelona that combines ingredients of the Mediterranean with elements from the countries of the Middle East, thus creating recipes of haute cuisine in stunning fusion. This new space, located in the old restaurant Oliver y Hardy, is the property of a Princess of Saudi Arabia, who has been in driving part of the creation of such an exceptional atmosphere.

The origin of the name is derived from the goddess of music in civilization Arabic, represented by a statue guarded in a Museum in Syria. Ornina was inspired by the fusion of cultures and, therefore, mixed flavors of the South Mediterranean countries. Two chefs international tour led by romain fornell, Chef of the restaurant Caelis (Palace Hotel), designed a menu of varied and balanced with starters, delights, and main dishes for the contemporary cuisine of the Middle East.

Based on the cuisine of Ornina focuses on combinación of classic and new ingredients, obtaining from this Union, a gastronomic experience of design, bold, creative and full of flavor. At the inaugural stressed dishes such as Hummus with sea bass tartar, skewer of chicken tandoori and sweet snoop, rolls of goat cheese with Mint, toast of steak tartare and Parmesan cheese, salmon bikini and labneh cheese and dessert, rice pudding and coulis mango and a varied assortment of bakery East.
