The designer Martin Lucas was inspired by the philosophy and aesthetics of Japanese gardens to create a very special table, called Sweep Table. Three materials used by Martin for this project: wood, glass and metal. Wood is the floor, and metal braces inspired aesthetics of Japanese gardens, blown glass vases are hand built, which emerge from the wood floor as some of the support metal. The visual result is a table well out of the ordinary, that aims to combine philosophy, art and design in a single object.
